ऐतिहासिक महत्व :

The coin on the Birth Centenary of Begum Akhtar was issued by the Government of India to honor the legendary Indian classical singer and ghazal and thumri vocalist, Begum Akhtar, on the occasion of her 100th birth anniversary. Begum Akhtar (1914–1974) is considered one of the most important figures in the history of Indian classical music, especially in the genres of ghazals, thumri, and dadra.
