ऐतिहासिक महत्व :

5 रुपये का ये सिक्का दिल्ली, भारत में आयोजित 19वें कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स के उपलक्ष्य में जारी किया गया था, ताकि इस प्रमुख अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल आयोजन को यादगार बनाया जा सके । कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स एक बहु-खेल आयोजन है जिसमें कॉमनवेल्थ देशों के एथलीट भाग लेते हैं, और 2010 का संस्करण विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण था क्योंकि यह भारत द्वारा पहली बार आयोजित किया गया था। यह खेल 3 अक्टूबर से 14 अक्टूबर, 2010 तक आयोजित किए गए थे, और इसमें 70 से अधिक देशों ने भाग लिया।

HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE  :  

The 5-rupee coin was issued to commemorate the 19th Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, India to mark this major international sporting event. The Commonwealth Games are a multi-sport event involving athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations, and the 2010 edition was particularly significant as it was hosted by India for the first time. The Games were held from October 3 to October 14, 2010, and saw participation from more than 70 nations.
