आचार्य तुलसी जयंती शताब्दी पर 5 रुपये का सिक्का भारत सरकार द्वारा जारी किया गया था, जो आचार्य तुलसी (1914–1997) की 100वीं जयंती को समर्पित था। आचार्य तुलसी आधुनिक जैन धर्म के सबसे पूज्य और सम्मानित आध्यात्मिक नेताओं में से एक थे, जो अपने धर्म, दर्शन और सामाजिक सुधारों में असाधारण योगदान के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं। उनका जीवन और उनके उपदेश आज भी लाखों लोगों को प्रेरित करते हैं, न केवल जैन समुदाय में बल्कि उससे बाहर भी। वे एक दूरदर्शी विचारक, सुधारक, और अहिंसा, सत्य और दया के प्रबल पक्षधर थे—जो जैन धर्म के केंद्रीय सिद्धांत हैं।

HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE  :  

The 5 Rupee coin on Acharya Tulsi Birth Centenary was issued by the Government of India to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of Acharya Tulsi (1914–1997) who was one of the most revered spiritual leaders of modern Jainism, known for his remarkable contributions to the religion, philosophy, and social reform. His life and teachings continue to inspire millions of people, both within the Jain community and beyond. He was a visionary thinker, a reformer, and a proponent of non-violence, truth, and compassion—principles central to Jainism.
